Johnny Ussery (Sr)

Johnny and his wife, Genie, honeymooned on Hilton Head in 1977, and three years later called it home.  A father of 4 and grandfather of 3.

Johnny has a lot of different titles: Dad, Papa Johnny, Coach, Friend, Partner, Developer, Trainer, Consultant, Board Member, and Motivational Speaker. His professional resume in sales includes top producer success at Melrose, Colleton River, Belfair, Berkeley Hall, and Hampton Lake.

Johnny is currently an owner of Gateway Realty, a Board Member at Bank Meridian, and is Principal of the Ussery Group's Training and Consulting division.

John enjoys long walks on the beach and weekly poetry readings by candle light... (Just kidding! These bios can read like disingenuous online dating personals if you're not careful).

A native of Hilton Head Island and graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, John and his wife Erin have two beautiful little boys, Jack and Finley.

Prior to joining Johnny at the Ussery Group, John was an Account Executive for Siemens Medical successfully selling state of the art imaging systems (CT, MRI, Angiography, Ultrasound... etc) and IT solutions in Georgia.

With the Ussery Group, John has been a top producer for Gateway Realty in their residential division and also heads up Gateway's sales and marketing efforts at Colleton River.
